Adventure, Drama, Romance . . . and a little fun at times. These are the types of books I write. You might say my stories are "like a box of chocolates" (forgive the cliche). But it's true. You never know what you're gonna get from me as a writer. I don't wish to be stereotyped into a narrow category.
And that's where the enjoyment really begins for me.
I specialize in telling stories featuring African Americans, as well as, people from various walks of life. However, this doesn't mean I put limits on what my characters can be or achieve. Just like the real world, we can be anything we wish to be.
My goal is to bring you (the reader) something a little different than the
"same ole" rehashed version of something you've already read. There's millions of stories in this world, and millions of ways those stories can be told.
I enjoy showing, through my stories, that people of color are more than just one-dimensional cardboard characters. We can survive, thrive, struggle, learn, and grow under a variety of situations. I desire for you to experience the world of fiction through fresh eyes.
